Renovation of a circa 100-year-old Westerham farmhouse

An amazing transformation of a circa 100-year-old Westerham farmhouse featuring Cedral Lap in colour C50 Black has helped turn this run-down property into a beautiful home and has added substantial value to the property, both aesthetically and in terms of adding extra insulation.

Homeowner Amy Taylor said:

“Cedral has helped us to transform the look of the main building and annex, allowing us to turn something so unappealing and run down into a beautiful home. We also hope it has added substantial value to the property, not only looks-wise but also in terms of adding extra insulation, which is also good for the EPC rating.”

Transformation of a 1930’s semi-detached property

The renovation of a 1930’s semi-detached property featuring Cedral Click cladding in dramatic black helps create a modern look and a strong style statement.

Homeowner Jade was extremely happy with the finished look and said:

“I’m quite emotional about the house now it’s finished, I love it so much. In fact, my neighbour caught me a couple of times just pretending to take things to the bin, when really, I was going outside to admire the walls." “I would 100% recommend Cedral. The house has been finished for several months now and people are still coming up to me to tell me it looks amazing. Next, I’m planning a building project for the back garden, and I would definitely use Cedral products for this also.”

1980’s farmhouse renovation

1950’s home receives a modern makeover

Cedral facades helped give this tired 1950’s home a modern makeover inspired by the clean lines and classic style of New England clapboard houses.

Homeowners Emma and Matt said:

“We are super happy with how our home looks,” says Emma. “I think if you want that New England look, this is a really great product to use. There’s a variety of colour choices, it’s easy to fit and lasts for a long time. We also checked the fire rating and it was very high, which is important for safety and particularly reassuring if you’re doing your own design and build.”

Stunning £250,000 rebuild of a 20-year-old bungalow

Cedral Lap in colour C07 Chalk White played an essential role in the completion of a stunning £250,000 rebuild of a 20-year-old bungalow into a two-storey holiday retreat. Cedral fibre cement cladding was chosen due to its resilience against the external elements, whilst also offering a minimum life expectancy of 50 years and creating a traditional exterior that was perfectly in keeping with the picturesque Ambleside landscape.

Significant renovation of a 200-year-old dilapidated Welsh barn house

Cedral Lap fibre cement cladding has been at the forefront of a significant renovation of a 200-year-old dilapidated Welsh barn house into a contemporary rural shooting lodge led by Neath Dry Lining.

Mark Aveyard, Managing Director of Neath Dry Lining, said:

“Working on such a drastic renovation project was a fantastic chance to give a real contemporary feel to such a traditional property. We specified Cedral Lap fibre cement boards due to their significant durability, as we wanted to use materials that would protect such an old building whilst being visually sensitive to the landscape.

A stunning transformation into a contemporary family home with real kerb appeal

Cedral facades helped give this renovation project a New England style face lift. Pre-renovation, homeowner Alex described their house as “the worst house on the street” but believed that its structure would work well with a New England style face lift using Cedral Lap in colour C01 White.

Now that the transformation is complete, Alex confirmed that Cedral had truly met their expectations - the house “looks great and we’re really pleased with the look”, confirming she would highly recommend Cedral to others.
