A 1930’s semi with a difference
“I saw a few black houses and that was it, I just needed to have a black house, I couldn't get over the obsession,” says stylist and Instagram influencer Jade Doutch, who used Cedral Click in dramatic black to create her dream home. The cladding also helped her to hide the unsightly rendered walls of her 1930’s semi-detached house, that looked, she said, like they’d been Artexed. Jade also loved Cedral because of the grain, adding texture to spice up the finish and giving the look of real wood, without the related maintenance. Reinventing a 100-year old farmhouse in style
When Amy Taylor and her family first saw the dilapidated 100-year-old bungalow on the market, they almost didn’t buy it – it had turned green and was harbouring a multitude of cracks inside and out, with wet and mouldy walls.
