Project description
Situated beside a neighbouring Grade II church spire, the development achieves a stunning visual cohesion between the traditional aesthetics of the church spire, against the properties modern, angular design. A key aim of the project was to utilise the application and tone of the cladding to visually decrease the properties impact against the church, creating a visual harmony between the two bordering properties that add to, rather than detract from one another. Cedral Click helped to reduce the impact of the building on the landscape through the cooperative relationship of the Slate Grey colour which was installed in perfect harmony with a honey coloured stone. This union between the cladding and stone made the most of sunlight and shadow, allowing traditional and contemporary to come together within the conservation area. The 300m², three bedroom home was the inspiration of the Manning family and Market Harborough-based Leaf Architecture. Mr Manning said: “The support we received has been phenomenal, our sales contact took the time to meet us and discuss exactly what it was that we wanted. Cedral Click has far exceeded our expectations and created a striking feature.”
