In our range, we have Cedral Terrace decking available in two different widths as standard, both as a classic variant and in a narrow version. To ensure that the sides of the decking are seamless as well, we are also happy to provide rounded decking boards for a harmonious finish on the sides.
Fibre cement is used as a material in a wide variety of construction projects, for example as a façade or roof covering. This special durability in form and function also pays off when it is used for decking boards - according to standard measurements, components made of fibre cement are fully usable for over 30 years. This gives you the security of knowing that you are making a worthwhile long-term investment with Cedral Terrace decking.
Over time, the surface of your Cedral decking will change - this does not represent a quality defect, but is intentional and part of the special surface appearance of the boards. The intensity of the colour of the boards will decrease at a more or less uniform rate, making the entire surface appear softer, smoother and lighter in colour. This natural process means that the overall look of the decking blends in better with its surroundings over time.
We currently offer Cedral Terrace decking in a total of four different colours in our range:
- TR05 Soft Grey
- TR10 Warm Red
- TR15 Deep Grey
- TR20 Smooth Sand
These colour variants were developed in collaboration with experienced landscape architects and can be harmoniously integrated into a wide variety of architectural styles and gardens when installed. Gradually, your decking will take on an even, softer tone, creating the perfect backdrop for your garden. This is a natural process that occurs after a few days. It gives your decking a softer, lighter colour across the entire surface.
Unfortunately, personal colour preferences cannot be taken into account in the design of the decking boards due to the production process.
Yes, Cedral Terrace decking is also very suitable for edging a pond or a pool. The material is not only particularly durable, but also exceptionally slip-resistant (anti-slip class R12) - so there is no risk of losing your footing even on a wet pool edge. The prerequisite for use is always professional installation on a stable substructure.
Yes. The fibre cement decking boards are significantly more durable than wood and, at the same time, hugely weather-resistant. The special composition of the material prevents twisting and splintering and the formation of cracks - even under long-term adverse environmental influences or heavy use.
The positive properties of Cedral Terrace decking, such as the pleasant feel and the wonderful walking experience, remain unaffected even under these circumstances.
The decking boards are made of fibre cement. This is a high-quality composite material made of cement and fibres, which offers impressive elasticity and particular durability. Fibre cement decking boards are now a popular option for attractive construction projects throughout the garden. They have a pleasant feel, are comfortable to walk on and are practical to install and maintain. As a result, they offer a real alternative to WPC or wooden decking.
The first step is to calculate how many square metres of surface you are aiming for when building your decking. Based on the estimated size, you can then determine the respective material requirements.
For standard boards (175 mm wide), you should allow 5.70 running metres per square metre, whereas for narrow boards (84.5 mm wide) 11.70 running metres per square metre are realistic. Note that, depending on the choice of boards, the dimensions and the weight will vary as well - the standard board weighs 20.7 kg, the narrow board 9.5 kg.
The decking boards are delivered on a pallet as standard. When you receive your Cedral Terrace decking, you should always check that there is no damage to the boards or the pallet and that the agreed number of decking boards has been delivered. Furthermore, the shipment should be dry and there should be no traces of moisture on the boards. If you see anything of this nature, make sure that this is noted on the delivery note.
Once the boards are on site, you must ensure that they are stored in a clean, dry environment. Under no circumstances should the decking boards be stored in the open air - ideally, a carport or garage should be available for storage. They should be stored under cover, lying flat and in dry conditions - good ventilation of the boards ensures that no staining can occur due to condensation or moisture.
The costs for the decking boards required can vary greatly depending on the surface area of the planned decking. To create a 20 m² Cedral Terrace deck, you would be looking at costs of approximately 3000 to 4000 euros. This price includes all Cedral materials, but not VAT.
If you have individual requirements regarding the construction of the decking, the costs can vary considerably. If you have any questions about the cost calculation, you can usually get help from your local specialist dealer.

Yes, it is essential to plan a gradient of at least 1% when installing the decking boards. This ensures that excess water (rain, etc.) can run off the surface. At the same time, this also simplifies cleaning and reduces staining of your decking.
Yes, a substructure is always required for the installation of Cedral Terrace decking. This can be a substructure made of either wood or aluminium. We have the necessary fastening accessories for both system solutions in our range - you can find out which tools we recommend for installation in our installation instructions.
No, Cedral Terrace decking is structurally optimised for simple, intuitive installation. The decking boards can be joined together with fixing clips for quick, precise connection. There is no need for wet cutting, nails or glue, enabling a seamless, high-quality look for the decking.
Furthermore, this means that a Cedral Terrace deck can also be installed by ambitious DIY-ers; assembly by a professional is not necessary. However, for faster and easier installation, we recommend the assistance of at least one other person to accompany the construction project and lend a hand as needed.
A basic set of tools is perfectly sufficient for laying the decking boards. Saws can be used to shorten and cut the boards to size if necessary, sanders help to smooth the edges and at least a hammer is useful for fixing. However, the clip-and-lock system eliminates the need to drill holes in the Cedral decking, which simplifies the installation work considerably. No special tools are required for installation.
Their special robustness makes the decking boards very easy to clean as well. As a rule, the fibre cement decking boards only need to be swept regularly - this is usually sufficient to remove superficial dirt. Any dirt that appears must be removed immediately.
If you would like to carry out thorough cleaning of your Cedral Terrace decking, we recommend using a pressure washer (max. 80 bar / min. 20 cm distance). Observe the safety instructions to prevent the strong water pressure from causing any damage to the material.
The enormous durability and resistance of the material are, of course, no fixed guarantees - under specific circumstances, it is always possible that one of the boards might suffer serious damage or have to be replaced for other reasons. Even a scenario like this is not a problem - thanks to the modular construction and the practical clip connection, the damaged decking board can be removed from the structure and replaced with a new, intact board.
Typical material-specific maintenance measures, such as sanding, oiling or coating the surface, are not important for preserving the appearance/durability of Cedral Terrace decking. Only the general instructions for cleaning the surface need be followed.
