With elegant floor covering, trendy furniture and the right plants, you can turn your terrace or balcony into a little paradise. The new sun deck of the non-profit building cooperative Bergedorf-Bille EG in Hamburg is a superb example of what’s possible. The terrace with a maritime jetty look, made of easy-maintenance fibre-cement planks, offers the tenants a generous space to relax.
Since summer 2020, the residents of Am Kaiserkai 3-7 can experience waterside living in private on their own terrace overlooking the Elbe river. PFP Architects chose light grey Cedral Terrace boards to create a sophisticated and stable outdoor living area of more than 20 square meters. The 17,5 cm wide and 3,15 m long decking boards used for the terrace are reminiscent of classic jetties on the Elbe, merging in nicely with the environment.
The Cedral Terrace fibre-cement deck boards have a velvety soft surface, offering a surprisingly pleasant walking experience. The planks are also non-slip, even in wet conditions. This makes them a safe choice for any terrace, providing a natural grip in any weather. The straight terrace planks provide a generous surface effect and allow inside and outside spaces to merge.
