Jean-Michel Coquereau has always enjoyed working with wood. Therefore, wood was the obvious material to use for the original terrace around his pool. Eight years later, however, his opinion has changed: over time, there is not much left of the terrace. The wood starts to splinter and it is slippery when wet.
When renovating the terrace, it was out of the question for Jean-Michel to build another wooden terrace. He opted for Cedral Terrace instead, made of fiber cement. This innovative composite material does not splinter or crack and the surface is non-slippery, ideal for a pool environment. Thanks to the unique production process, the surface is soft to the touch. Perfect to walk on barefoot or for the children to play on.
The decking boards also look nice and come in various widths and colours. The planks are low-maintenance – no need for regular repainting or staining – and are easy to install. They are dimensionally very stable, so they don’t budge in any weather conditions. Cedral Terrace is a stylish and very robust alternative to wood.
